Amazing, simply amazing...
Reading all of this about people getting pre-orders today and all of this. "The End is only the Beginning" Oh man, I want to just go into hyperdrive and... just... SQUEE!
I'm sitting here babbling on the phone with my boyfriend who can't understand anything i'm saying because i'm babbling incoherently in happiness and squealing and yeah...
I'm twenty, acting like a little kid on too much sugar... Wow...
The music is awesome for this, I thought I was going to just like, weep out of sheer joy o_o;
*is so pathetically addicted XD*
Is that one of the tracks from the game itself...? O_o;
Please say yes, PLEASE SAY IT IS! O_O;
*is getting the CE, wants that on the soundtrack, lurves it XD*
GNOMES OF NI!! Sorry for the caps btw, just so hyper!
I never saw the fuzzy bees...
I want gnomes!!! o.o;
That night I was panicking thinking we'd die by oink... then the gnomes... then... then... the wurms... o_O;
*twitches and goes to get some tranqs to calm down, not really, but is buzzing on sheer GWness, goes to Furcadia to spread the joy of Guild Wars via her Guild Wars alt >.>;*

Who wrote the score for Guild Wars? It's on the same level as any movie score.

The funny thing about this is how they've managed to make the event look all serene and awe-inspiringly depressing... when in reality, it wasn't like that at all. From where I was standing in district 1 LA, it was rampant, unabated chaos. There were pigs, and gnomes, and fireworks and people desperately shouting at Gaile "Gaile what's your shoe size?!" and other similarly bizarre queries ... seemingly oblivious to the fact that giant Wurms were popping up everywhere and killing them.

I managed to get into LA disctrict one as well..
Freekin chaotic i love it

Adaria (and others experiencing FTP issues),
If you're using IE and XP, try this:
Start | Control Panel | Internet Options | Advanced (tab)
Scroll down until you see "Use Passive FTP (for firewall and DSL modem compatibility)" and make sure the box next to it is UNCHECKED.
When I updated my XP Pro to SP2, apparently that setting was enabled. What it means is that FTP sites that do not support Passive mode will fail to connect (like the NCSoft Europe FTP server). I use Verizon DSL, and disabling this setting causes no problems, for me at least.
Unfortunately, the FTP issue remains unresolved with Firefox 1.0.3, which normally is my browser of choice. In this case, though, IE scores a point.

Going to change that at this moment... *checks* My BF has his checked, but he has no problems, and I DO have SP2... Hrm... mine is checked... SO unchecked it, will test it now... will edit post and confirm fixage...
EDIT: Ok that didnt' fix it, it comes up with the whole 'page cannot be displayed' deal -_-; My BF can dload them no prob, I sense my computer disagrees with me o_o; Any other suggestions aside from an FTP client? OR can someone recommend a SMALL client to like, just download things that won't cause my computer any problems? o.o; Not too fond of unknown software o.o;

I have to say, its felt a lot better actually being there in person standing right next to the garden knomes, fireworks, and those worm monsters. Plus hearing those fireworks sound effects made me ultimately realize that this game was going to be the best game I have played in years

I agree with a lot of the others the video was neat and all but being there is a whole different story. The feeling when all the crap started happening was crazy. The gnomes the raining gold the fireworks then the wurms. I have never seen anything like this in a game before.

Is THAT who they were??!? Fifteen Monks and Necromancers, kneeling in a semi-circle in front of the Catacombs entrance in Ashford Abbey . . . weirdest thing I ever saw.
